Documents Required to Incorporate a Company in Dubai South Free Zone

- Application form;
- Specimen signature of all parties involved in the business;
- Passport copy of all shareholders and company officers;
- Visa copy of all shareholders and company officers (if applicable);
- External approvals (if applicable);
- If an industrial license, technical and environmental assessments might be required;
- If a foreign shareholder has an existing UAE residence visa, a NOC from the sponsor is needed;
- If a company, instead of an individual holds the shares, the company documents need to be notarised and attested.


Timeframe for Dubai South Free Zone License
Dubai South Free Zone takes approximately ten working days for most types of licenses. Licenses that require additional approval, such as the aviation, customs, manufacturing, etc. require external approvals that can add time to the license issuance. The free zone contains freehold property and land which can be acquired by license holders, this can add time to the license issuance as it will not be considered complete until the deal is finalized.
